Defending Colorado 3A Valor Christian Returns Star Quarterback and Wide Receiver for 2010 Season

Defending 3A champ Valor Christian, which beat Steamboat 41-14 in the state title game last year, certainly has enough returning talent to defend its title, however, it does have a new challenge.

The Eagles, who won their first-ever Colorado state football championship, will move-up to Class 4A this season.  The bad news for other 4A teams, Valor returns quarterback Brock Berglund, who has given his verbal commitment to Colorado, and another Division I prospect in wide receiver Carzell Vickers.

Denver Post reporter Ryan Casey takes a look at the duo, who could put-up some pretty big numbers this season.

2010 Valor Christian Eagles Schedule

8/27 - @ Grandview
9/3 - Regis Jesuit
9/17 - Rampart
9/24 - Pomona
10/1 - Pueblo South
10/7 - @Rock Canyon
10/15 - @ Castle View
10/23 - @ Littleton
10/29 - Ponderosa
11/5 - Legend
